Jitters before an important interview or a presentation in front of your clients? Try these 3 tips to boost your confidence within seconds.
1. Power pose: stand up tall with your hands on your hips, or sit back with your hands behind your head, or lift your hands in the air like you’re celebrating a job well-done.
2. Stand in front of a mirror and give yourself a uplifting pep talk or tell yourself positive affirmations. For example, tell yourself how amazing you are, how proud you are of the work you’ve put in and how great you will do!
3. Listen to a confidence-boosting song, a song that makes you feel unstoppable (ironically enough, my fave is Unstoppable by Sia!). Sing along, dance along, it will calm you down and give you that boost you need to go in there confidently.
