Start your day with these 3 self-care tips to feel unstoppable

Did you know that the way we start our day can have a direct impact on the outcome of your entire day?

Mornings can be chaotic, we’re running around, trying to get everybody and everything set for the day. But it’s important not to forget about self-care.

Self-care has a direct impact on our productivity:

It has the power to reduce stress, increase our energy, and increase our focus. When you take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally, you are better equipped to handle daily tasks and challenges.


So, I’m sharing with you my 3 favourite steps that are easy to integrate in your morning routine - it literally takes less than 30 minutes.


1- I like to start with gratitude, this helps to start the day with a positive mindset. You can write them down or simply take some quiet time as your having your coffee to think of 3 things you are grateful for in your life.


2- Eat a healthy breakfast. Not skipping breakfast is important (and no, coffee is not breakfast). It jumpstarts your metabolism, provides energy for the day and greatly improves your concentration.

3- Get some movement and while you’re at it, why not include a guided meditation or some affirmations. Many apps available, such as Calm, Headspace or my favourite free option Insight Timer. This sets a positive tone for the day ahead, and cultivates a sense of calm and inner peace.
